Hello...is this thing on?

Okay. I've done it. I've set up a blog. It's taken some time, not just to get around to (mandatory writer's procrastination, running it by people, debating the virtues of blogger against some other site that I've now forgotten the name of) but also to work out now that I'm online - how complicated is this?? Passwords, templates and then the whole business of what to write. Well, put simply, this blog is all about sharing some of the events (most of them pretty ordinary) that inspire me to write, and to share some of my current work. I will be putting up poems, short stories, and extracts from my novel, and there will be opportunity for readers to download some of my work as it emerges...once I've worked out how to do that.
